Explore button – What rooms get after over above explore button – top of feed. And can I give feedback on rooms I see

• This is constantly changing 
• This is function  of people you follow and clubs you are in

    • Sometimes friend of friends network, if not entering – we will show less

  • Topics (150 ish) are taken into account & we try to match to rooms
    • Club hosted rooms have topics – as clubs have topics, 
    • Rooms not in clubs inferred on titles etc

Follow suggestions for people are great – want to see recommenced rooms / clubs & previous rooms in club in past

Could you make possible to see clubs I visit most often & rooms I join

• Not possible today

  • Tap upper right – shows recent speakers you listened to
  • No way to do top speakers you listen to
• Public / Private history is interesting, as when IN room, people can publicly see you are in the room!

Regular private rooms

What is best way o do private room we  regularly host?

• A lot fo people have clubs and don’t host regularly 
• Clubs are like conversation series 
• How to setup : 
  • Form club
  • Add members of club
  • Schedule conversations 
  • Can’t make recurring yet
    ( To stop DEAD rooms )
  • Send calendar invite 
• Bit more work but higher quality for everyone 
• Could add clone events 
• If recurring & you didn’t meet a couple of times – NO SHOW, we could remove from calendar – Possibly July time

Notifications

Really like new Notification format! When are notifications sent out – can I turn off when speaker? 

• When you follow someone we will show them in feed ‘sometimes‘, being smart about it – but you can update.
  • You can choose add bell to say ALWAYS tell me
  • NEVER notify me
  • Default is sometimes!
• Adding machine learning to make this better!
• Turn off notifications when. I am a speaker / not notify people when I join stage 
  • We have design for this 
  • Want you to be able to ‘join quietly’ like you can leave quietly

Pings & room notices

Sometimes want to stop room notices, but want pings for invites directly only

• Not currently
• Will be in future
• Pings and room notices bundled atm 

Hide rooms based on topics

Some rooms I don’t want to see. Is there room to mute keywords / emojis to stop them showing? 

• Makes sense
• We should launch
• Not on roadmap fro next few weeks
• Like mute keyword

Profile @mentions

User profiles @mentions – Can’t use handles for other platforms, as this links inside Clubhouse

• Verified Instagram / Twitter links currently – like real verification who they say they are & to connect more 
• Often used. to link to other user they recognise / work with 
• We would probably not do. this way but link to other social platforms 
• Love to help people use Clubhouse to grow on other platforms 
• Currently a UI Issues – can see the username of 2, as well as tap, will. goto multiple rows / hide usernames behind the tap ? 
• QUICK FIX add period / not use @ 

Recurring events

Could you make easier to setup recurring events. Take too long

• Yes we will do that, but details to work out
• Want to help you change details on this for each week 

Club member permissions

Could you make it possible to give different permissions. Who can start rooms, and invite people / approve etc

Closing open rooms

Can you change public room to private room. May want to close room to new people

• Always planned and intended to 
• Can open private to social rooms
• It is something we want to do
  • Heavily requested to lock room at certain size, or when sensitive topic
  • Need to revoke permissions  that room has when opened 
  • If someone was in. and leaves can they rejoin etc – so need to work through

Double room conversations

Like to suggest including two conversations to happen in room. One on stage, and one in audience around what the speakers are discussing

• Think it’s important
• Think it’s already happening on other platforms
• Think it’s really cool 
• Think bigger rooms serve as a focus point to talk around 
• Audio side may be complicated
  • How do you listen to both sets of audio? 
  • Who can talk to who? 
  • Few other considerations

Overflow & spin off rooms

Are you adding any features to create 2nd rooms to handle overflow rooms, or to have spin off smaller conversation? Or to expand the FULL rooms? 

• Community guidelines says you can’t do this, most people allow this when bigger rooms.
• Working on this, but not priorities
• Want to make room limit bigger (Currently around 8k)

Recording rooms

Any plans for creators. to record rooms, and who would own that content? 

• Nothing to share atm 
• What can you do when people come together to talk?
• We are not religious about live only!
• Imagine we will have recording in future but need to be thoughtful to allow it
• creators would own it

Brands on Clubhouse

Seen account representing brands. IS this something we can all access? 

• Accounts should be real people 
• Clubs can be brands
• We are early as a platform 
• Always try to understand what is missing and what you want to be able to do? 
  • Logos? 
  • Background music 
  • Have multiple people through same account. in room

Subscriptions & paid rooms

When can we see tickets rooms, club subscriptions etc? 

• Not sure timing 
• Later this year
• Business model – not sure yet
• We grow when creators grow – transation fee on some bits 

Bringing existing communities

Is there a good way to bring people from another community

• If you have club and setup event you get loaded. with invites to get community over 
• We will give more if you need them 

Blocking

Blocking – I would like to know if I have blocked someone. I don’t want blocked people to see my profile. 

• Not able to see who you blocked 
• Soft blocking
• People you blocked don’t know you blocked them
• When you speak they can’t see you are speaking / or the eroom

Communication in room

What chat features are you thinking to add? Any other features. to communicate in the room as audience? 

• Need to understand this better and it’s use cases to make it work best
• What doe sit do to experience for users & speakers
• Always preference speakers when there is a trade. off
• We think some important structural pieces and happening already 
• Would like to launch, no timeline yet
